| Work stoppage at Finnish ports02 February 2010 Committees of local organizations of AKT, the national organization of ITF, have informed they will stop working for one day in several Finnish ports starting on Tuesday 2nd of February 2010 at 6 a.m. This will stop service in Kotka, Helsinki, Turku, Hanko and Naantali ports. Working will start again on Wednesday 3rd of February at 6 a.m. AKT has further informed that they will start a strike in all Finnish ports on the 19th of February at 6 a.m. unless a satisfactory result in negotiations between AKT and the Finnish Port Operators Associaton has been reached by then. Under the strike comes also all work under the stevedore branch collective agreement. These actions will be causing delays on our transports.
