The Managing Director of Varova to lead Family Firms Association21 November 2011 The Finnish Family Firms Association has appointed Mr Pekka Laitinen, the Managing Director of Varova, as Chairman for the three-year term starting January 2012.
The Finnish Family Firms Association is a network of family-owned enterprises in Finland which promotes the interests of family businesses. Moreover, the Association offers expert advisory services and education.
Pekka Laitinen accepted the post with delight and enthusiasm. He wants to do his part in raising the importance of ownership with personal dedication. He will be leading an organization which seeks to be increasingly involved in decision making in the Finnish economy and society.
